Facilities: Auckland

Located within the Airport Oaks area adjacent to Auckland International Airport we are centrally located to handle ocean & air cargo.  This location boasts 1340 m2 of security warehouse with all weather canopy.  MAF approved & bonded, we are able to handle all types of import, export & transshipment cargo under the one roof.

Sydney - Head Office

Located at Matraville we are 2 minutes from the Port Botany Container Terminals & 5 minutes from Sydney Airport. This location boasts 750 m² of security warehouse, 200 m² of office space, and an outdoor free stand area capable of accommodating the equivalent of 9 x 20' containers at any given time.

Melbourne

Located at Campbellfield we are 30 minutes from the Melbourne Container Terminals & 15 minutes from Melbourne Airport. This location boasts 400 m² of security warehouse, 100 m² of office space, and an outdoor free stand area capable of accommodating the equivalent of 3 x 20' containers at any given time.

Brisbane

Located at Tingalpa we are 2 minutes from the Fisherman Island Container Terminals & 5 minutes from Brisbane Airport. This location boasts 500 m² of security warehouse, 100 m² of office space, and an outdoor free stand area capable of accommodating the equivalent of 9 x 20' containers at any given time.

Being a "Regulated Agent" under Department of Transport aviation security guidelines, Kalgin maintains the highest level of security procedures at all times at each of its facilities.

Competitive Advantage

The fact that we operate our own warehouse facilities at each of our offices gives us a competitive edge that our competitors are unable to replicate. For example:

• Our competitors outsource cargo receiving & container packing to third parties, the majority of whom close their gates at 3:00pm Monday - Friday. Kalgin is able to receive cargo until 6:00pm Monday - Friday with flexibility outside these times if needed.
   
• Our competitors' 3rd party depots are, by nature, very large companies. Long delays at truck ranks and unhelpful staff are common place. At Kalgin we pride ourselves on turning trucks around quickly & providing a helpful, co-operative level of service from ground level up.
   
• All consolidated containers are packed by our own staff at our own premises. More care is taken during loading, and strict procedures are followed in the event of damaged or short-delivered cargo.
   
• All staff are accredited & trained in the handling & documentation of Dangerous Goods whether by sea or air freight.
